Power Rankings: Most Hated People as a Cubs Fan

In the first edition of Power Rankings, it is only fitting to get the worst ones out of the way first so we will cover the most hated people as a Cubs fan. From opponents to some of our own, there are plenty of people throughout Major League Baseball that are hate-worthy, and here are just a few.

1. AJ Pierzynski
Pierzynski would be on these power rankings for just about every franchise. Go search google for the dirtiest players in the game and this jerk's name will appear multiple times. It does help that he was one of the best players on the White Sox teams back during the last time that the Crosstown Cup meant anything. But here is a consolation prize that no Cubs fan will ever forget:

2. Cardinals fans
The "Greatest Fans in Baseball" bring this ranking upon themselves. Is there really a fan base in all of sports that is more obnoxious than the Cardinals?

3. Matt Holliday
Holliday  is all of those Cardinal fans wrapped into one human being. The dirtiest player I have ever seen, the only thing that makes it a little better is the fact that he can't play a lick of defense.

4. Daniel Murphy
We can say that a majority of reasons went into why the Cubs got swept in last years NLCS by the Mets but I think it is much easier to just say it was because of this guy.

5. Bob Costas
Personally I actually really liked Costas as a voice of the Olympics and other sporting events. As a Cubs fan, I hated this guy when he decided to be an ignorant human being this past season:

6. Yoenis Cespedes
Another Met, I think the hatred for Cespedes just stems from his neon yellow arm sleeve. Besides those two reasons, I don't have much two backup my Yo argument
.
7. Yasiel Puig
Puig is just easy to hate. From his bat flips to pimping triples to everyone in the organization saying they don't like him, you show me something good about Puig and I will show you a reason to hate him.

8. Milton Bradley
Now I start to bash former Cubs. Not entirely sure why we brought in Bradley for the kind of money that we did, but I don't think MB did anything but cause drama and throw away baseballs:

9. Brett Jackson
Brett Jackson was the original Kris Bryant and in no way am I exaggerating. He was single-handedly supposed to resurrect the Cubs and make us World Series winners at least 6 consecutive years. Too bad his strikeout rate was at about 75%. Welp, you win some you lose some.

10. Josh Vitters
If Brett Jackson was Kris Bryant, Vitters was Kyle Schwarber. I watched Vitters play all the way down in Peoria and agreed with everyone in saying that he was gonna be hitting in the cleanup spot behind Jackson in a couple years. The only reason these two guys are so low are because I am slowly starting to forget about "those" years.
